Driving directions:  Prospect Avenue is the city line dividing Hartford from West Hartford.  Number 674 Prospect is a three-story Victorian house one block away from the intersection of Farmington and Prospect Avenues on the Elizabeth Park side. There is free parking in the street and behind the building, facing the wall.

From I-84 headed east: take Exit 44 (Prospect Avenue), and go left off the ramp onto Prospect Avenue.  Continue, crossing Farmington Avenue (Tangiers International Specialty Foods on upper left corner), and look for a Victorian house on the right near the end of the next block.  A big sign reading 674 hangs off the porch.

From I-84 headed west: take Exit 46 (Sisson Avenue) and go straight off the exit ramp onto West Boulevard.  Continue to T intersection with Prospect Avenue (the Boulevard Shops are in a small shopping plaza straight ahead).  Go right onto Prospect.  Continue, crossing Farmington Avenue (Tangiers International Specialty Foods on upper left corner), and look for a Victorian house on the right near the end of the next block.  A big sign reading 674 hangs off the porch.

From Newington (this route avoids rush hour traffic on Route 9): take Route 173 to the T intersection with New Britain Avenue in the Elmwood section of West Hartford. Go left onto New Britain Avenue, then immediately right onto South Quaker Lane, passing the old Elm Theater on your right. Continue on South Quaker, crossing Park Road, Boulevard, and other streets until you reach the intersection with Farmington Avenue (the AAA building, chocolate-covered brick, is on your left; a three-story white clapboard house with a big parking lot and a sign announcing speech therapy is on your right). Go right onto Farmington Avenue and proceed a couple of miles to Prospect Avenue, the city line. On your right you will see a large gas station; on your left, Walgreen's and Tangiers International Specialty Foods. Go left onto Prospect Avenue and proceed one block. Number 674 is on your right, one house away from Cone Street. A big sign reading 674 hangs off the porch.
